Today in class we witnessed the power of "Photo Story". Teachers can have students use this program to present projects and information to their classmates. This program allows for students to upload pictures that they have taken with their own cameras or pictures that they have found on the Internet or in a primary document that are meaningful to their presentation. In addition, students are able to record their own voices or upload previously recorded audio on to this program as well as provide background music, which all provide added touches to a student's presentation.
Photo story is a free download.Jen and Jon presented the use and power of "Interwrite". This program is useful for creating, displaying, annotating, organizing, controlling, importing, capturing, recording and sharing teaching materials. Teachers can have saved practice problems, notes, and lessons already on the projector screen when students enter the classroom. This program save them from having to copy problems on the board or have students copy notes from the board. It seems like a great way for teachers to have good use of time management.
